Eine weitere Version des SmackBook. Diese Pythonbibliothek erlaubt es, HDAPS für lustige Zwecke zu missbrauchen.

Demos

Als Demos werden drei Einsatzzwecke mitgeliefert:

  • Desktopwechsel (per xmacroplay)
  • VT-Wechsel (per chvt)
  • xlock durch Klopfen entsperren

Technisches

Diese Version des SmackBook (hier ja eigenltlich SmackPad) arbeitet im Gegensatz zu anderen Scripten mit einem besonderen Konzept der "Klopfdetection": Bei einem Gegen-den-rechner-schlagen muss ein Ausschlag in eine Richtung dem in eine andere Richtung folgen. In der Zeit vor dem Schlag darf keine intensive Bewegung stattfinden. So werden false-poisitives weitestgehend ausgeschlossen.

Yet another version of the SmackBook (for ThinkPads). This Python library enables you to use HDAPS for some funny purposes.

Demos

There are three demos inside of the library:

  • Desktop switch (through xmacroplay)
  • VT switch (through chvt)
  • Terminate xlock by a smack-combination

Technical aspects

This version of SmackBook (it should be called SmackPad here) uses a special concept for smack detection. A "smack" should be a deflection to one direction immediately followed by one to the other direction. There should be no heavy movement before the smack. This way, most false-positives can be avoided.
